Welcome to www.wrencentre.ca, the official website of The Wren Centre: Therapy for All Ages, a psychotherapy clinic in west Ottawa located at 2900 Carp Rd #1, Ottawa, ON K0A 1L0. 2. No Therapeutic Relationship
Using this website, booking a consultation, accessing downloadable materials, or taking part in online courses does not create a therapist-client relationship. A therapeutic relationship is only established through a formal intake process, signed informed consent, and mutual agreement between the client and a registered therapist at The Wren Centre.
3. CRPO and Regulatory Compliance
All therapy services at The Wren Centre are delivered in accordance with the standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Some services are also offered by professionals registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) . Our therapists are individually licensed and responsible to their regulatory bodies.
4. Virtual & Teletherapy Services
The Wren Centre offers secure teletherapy and virtual therapy sessions. While we use encrypted platforms and follow best practices to protect your confidentiality, no system can be entirely guaranteed to be risk-free. Engaging in online therapy implies your informed consent and understanding of the potential limitations of digital communication.
5. Online Booking & Courses
We offer online booking for therapy appointments and online registration for workshops, courses, and groups. We also offer downloadable resources for purchase or free access. Participation in these offerings does not constitute therapy and should not be treated as a substitute for individualized care.
Please read all course descriptions and disclaimers carefully. If you have questions about whether a course or resource is right for you, please contact us before enrolling.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
The Wren Centre collects limited personal information through contact forms, booking tools, and course registrations to deliver services to you. We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and comply with applicable privacy legislation in Ontario.
We will never sell or share your information without your explicit consent, except when required by law (e.g., to protect safety or comply with a subpoena).
Please note that communications through email and contact forms are not guaranteed to be secure. Avoid sharing sensitive or personal health information through these channels.
